Engr. Anuka E. Uchola, FNSE
Anuka Uchola was born in Unale, Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi on the 12th January 1952. He had his early education of Primary and Secondary schools at Unale Q.I.M. School and St. Peter's College, Idah. After obtaining his A/L Cambridge at Kwara College of Technology he proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria where he bagged a B.Eng. Degree in Civil Engineering. In 1984 he obtained a Master of Science degree in Highway Engineering from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom.
On graduation, Engr. A. E. Uchola worked mainly with Benue State Ministry of Works, though he was at one time seconded to the Foreign Loan Projects Managements office as Chief Consultant from where he returned to the Ministry as Director of Works (Civil Engineering Division). He withdrew from the service in 1991, and since then, he has held many appointments at one time or the other in both the private and public sectors in Nigeria including his election into the Federal House of Representative in 1992.
Engr. Uchola is married with four Children. He is a workaholic and loves reading with eyes on details.
