Mr. Ekpenyong Nsa
Mr. Ekpenyong Nsa, FRGS was born on 16th February, 1957 . He hails from Creek Town in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State. He attended Presbyterian Primary School, Creek Town and St. Patrick's College, Calabar. He proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus where he obtained a B.Sc. Hons degree in Estate Management. He also obtained an M.Sc. degree in Environmental Resource Management from the University of Calabar . He did his National Youth Service in Yola, Adamawa State in 1983.

He started his civil service career with the Cross River State Government as Estate Officer and rose to the position of Director Estate/Works. He also held several appointments, some of which are:

  1. Administrative Secretary to the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), Cross River State
  2. Resident Electoral Commissioner, National Electoral Commission (NEC) in-charge of Kwara State.
  3. Director, Calabar Capital City Development Authority. '
  4. Executive Secretary, Calabar Urban Development Authority.
  5. Resident Electoral Commissioner (INEC), Ogun State.
  6. National Electoral Commissioner (INEC Headquarters), Abuja.

Mr. Ekpenyong Nsa is an Estate Surveyor and an environmentalist. Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society of the U.K. He won several awards among which are Cross River Millennium Award 2000, University of Nigeria Alumni Association award, Antiquity Association of Nigeria Award, Point Blank Award 2000 for Environmental Friendly attitude.

His hobbies are swimming, jogging and footballing.

He is married to Dr. (Mrs) Bernadine Nsa and they are blessed with children.
