DR. MOHAMMED ABUBAKAR JUMARE
DR. MOHAMMED ABUBAKAR JUMARE was born on the 20th of August 1943 in  – UNGUWAR KWARBAI, Zaria- City,   Kaduna State. He attended Kofan Kuyambana, 1949 – 1952 for Elementary School, Senior Boarding Primary School, Soba,  1954 – 1956 for primary education

He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGDPA), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1977,  Masters in Public Administration (MPA), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1982. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) – Public Administration, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1998. He was Committee Member on the review of “The   National Financial Memoranda for use in the Local Government 1990 – 1991; Committee Member on the Review of the Constitution of (NLGA) and the re-organization of “The Nigeria Local Government Association for Nigeria Local Governments” to qualify as a full Member of the International Union of Local Authorities, (IULA) 1990; Chairman Committee on Functional Design, Allocation and Relationship between the State Audit, Department of Local Government in the Military Governor’s Office, Internal Audit of Local Governments and other Ministries, 1989;Member Committee for the Dismantling of  the Ministry for Local Government, 1989; Kaduna State Government; Transition Committee member On the Created Local Government in Kaduna State Government State, 1989;Member, Study Team for the Proposal on Local Government Administration for Abuja the Federal Capital Territory, 1987 -1988,Presidency;Member, Study Team for the Proposal on Local Government Administration for Abuja the Federal Capital Territory, Presidency 1987 -1988; Member, All Nigeria Conference on Foreign Policy, Jos, 1987,Presidency;  General Secretary – North Central State Conference, Zaria Chapter, 1967 – 1968 (to determine Permanent State Headquarters, Number of Ministries and State-Native Authorities Relationship and other Modalities for implementation),Kaduna State Government; Executive Secretary, Zaria Abandoned Property Committee, 1968 – 1970.  Mainly Ibo’s Property,North-Central State Government; Member, Kaduna State North-Central State Government Arts Council, 1975 – 1977. He Is a recipient of many academic honors, including Merit Awards by NACAS Federal University of Technology Minna 1997; Certificate of Merit by African Youth Sports Federation; Patron, Zazzau Educational Development Association (ZEDA); Letter of appreciation and certificate of honour by Kaduna State Primary Education Board 2002;

  1. Constructed and built a 2km, Feeder Road at Kwarbaik, to link with Jushi at  Zaria Local Government in Kaduna State.
  2. Built mosque and assisted in the building of Mosques in many villages, such as Garu, Tudun Saibu etc.
  3. Contributed money and Materials to various clubs and Associations for games and recreations for both adult and youth etc.(see Appendixes for  certificate of Appreciation).
  4. Contructed five classrooms for Dr. Mohammed Jumare, Primary School, Jushi, three classroom and Headmasters office for Nuhu Bamalli, Primary School, Padi-Sonka and renovation of two classrooms for M. Musa, Primary School, Kwarbai.
  5. Assisted many Islamiyya Schools in and around Zaria such as Anwarul Islamiyya School, M. Tafida Islamiyya  etc.
  6. Awarded scholarship to one hundred students through  ZEDA.
  7. Awarded full time scholarship to one girl from pad a Neighbourhood Secondary School to SS Classes three to six in Science at Queen Amina College - Kaduna.
  8. Paid for the purchase of forms for recruitment and admission through the Zazzau Emirate Education Consultative Committee as follows:
    1. 40 for Nigerian Army Regular Course.
    2. 50 for School of Health Technology
    3. 40 for Nigerian Police
    4. 100 for Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic
    5. 20 for Leather Research Institute
    6. 50 for Kaduna state Local Government Service.
